This is the remastered version of my scenario "aMAZE": You are spawned inside of a maze and have to find yourself to the green target.
WASD/Arrow keys - Movement
EQ - Straving
Shift - Sprint
The mazes are randomly generated - they are always possible. The algorithm to generate the mazes is the same as in the initial version, but about everything else has changed.
The rendering is done using a sort-of 2D self-written ray-tracer. This means, that the image is rendered by shooting many rays from the players point of view and testing where they hit.
Performance is WAY BETTER OFFLINE. I strongly recommend you to download the game and play it in the application as there more advanced techniques such as multi-threading is used. Also, resolution scaling is lowered for online, so the image will be a lot sharper offline.
