Yes. If any command, such as 'getX', getY', 'move', setLocation' or any collision checking methods, are called when the actor is not in the world, you will get a run-time error (IllegalStateException) and the program will stop with a terminal message. If you try to execute ANY world class method on 'getWorld' (for example: getWorld().getObjectsAt(..)) when the actor is not in the world, you will get a run-time error (

In all arrays (and lists), the first element is element# 0 (regardless of being used in a loop).

If I am not mistaken, you are referring to manually added objects not remaining in the world when you reset the scenario. No manual change will remain unless you use the 'Save the world' function. Be aware that the function will not work once an act cycle is executed. Manually executed methods (even act methods of individual objects) can be done and they will be saved as well when saving the world. You will find the option in the 'Controls' section of the main menubar.

That is shorter than what Hondrok has but with his code he just needs to change the "==" in the first "if" to "<=" and in the second "if" to ">=".

That will not work either. If the location becomes one of the two, '250' or '500', then it will never be the other one as the difference between the two is not divisible by 4 (the speed). Try this:
