Yes, I agree... I'll try to get the next update up soon, but in the mean time, try building closer to your wall.

You can now pause the game (and still put down turrets) by pressing space bar.

This helps stop Dragons and DarkKnights from charging your walls. Warning - Dragons will always prioritize destroying the Frost turrets!
