You probably just need to negate the sign of 'position' on lines 33 and 34.

I think you need to stick with your original code and post your act method of the class. You may also want to inform us of any method that has the following line in it: <Code Omitted>You may also want to show all codes that deals with the 'gunTimerMax' field.

There was another issue with your original code which I just spotted. The first instruction in the 'alternating' method, line 56, sets the value of 'timer' to the system time . With that line, the conditions on lines 59 and 69 will never be 'true'.

Thank you for explaining how that all works! I just figured out the problem, I just needed to add 'import java.util.List;' Completely forgot about it haha. Everything is working as intended!

Do you add the Point object into your world? You created it with this line: <Code Omitted>'getWorld' returns null on this object if it isn't in the world (so either not added at all or removed). To add it, you can use this line: <Code Omitted>

Need an actor to always be on top visually.

In the world's constructor, add something like this: <Code Omitted>You could specify the order in which they need to appear, the first one being the type that will be displayed on top of following ones, but if I'm not mistaken, specifying only one class will ensure it will get drawn on top of all the others.

In general (in NPC class): <Code Omitted>where 'dialogComplete' is a boolean field in the NPC class and 'key' is a public Key reference field in the player class. Also, 'player', in the code given, is not the class name here. It is a reference to the object representing the player. The class does not get the key -- the player instance does.
