Alright! I have a working mouse-look code chunk! If you have an e-mail address, I can send you the method+code

Well that sounds interesting zerg, I've been working on a major update, and i would love to see the code, although i might not include it in the code point final tomorow. My email is Builderboy2005@yahoo.com

I personally believe you deserved to beat Quest, but that is just my humble opinion.
thanks for that, and congratulations for winning first place! (and beating me!)

I like the textures - and they don't seem to slow the game down at all now :) Not on my laptop anyway - and I'd describe it's processing power as the lower end of average!

I think i spotted some sorta bug here... If you start writing down a code and then without pressing enter click 'Start' will the text still be visible.
Ah, yes that's right! Thank you!

Hmm... every so often I come across translucent walls that I can walk through, usually they appear next to the solid ones at a slight angle (all in the first level.) Feature to try and make it more challenging, or bug?
Where were these walls? By translucent do you mean transparent? I searched all through level 1 and i couldn't find a single wall that i could walk through. In other levels there are walls that you can walk through and act as secrets, but none in level 1, and they are never at a slight angle.

Well - if they were transparent you wouldn't be able to see them at all, but I think we're on the same wavelength ;) You can see through them a bit. They're on level 1 - though interestingly the problem only seems to occur on my laptop, I've tried it on another couple of computers and don't get them at all. Strange.
Check the source, is it the places where the block is a 1? Because those are invisible walls that only enemies react to. There are some right outside the main entry room... weird :/

It gets annoying having to start the program every time. i.e. Greenfoot.start();

faster turning would be nice, but awesome other than that!
I don't know, the turning already is pretty fast, and if I made it faster, it would become even more hard to aim
Incredible, awesome, Castle Wolfenstein map like and monsters Doom like, I wondering how long does it take to do it.
Yeah, I was inspired a lot by those old raycasting games like Wolfenstein and Doom :) It took my about a month and a half to make it all, although i don't remember exactly. It was made last year for the 2008 Codepoint contest.
