@vela, please do not revive old discussion threads. Start a new one. Explain what you are trying to do, first in general, then in detail. Supply attempted code. Be specific.. Include all relevant information and codes necessary to help resolve the issue.

You would only set the value of those fields in the subclasses. You declare the fields (with lines like those you suggested) ONLY in the Towers class -- not in the subclasses. As long as the fields are not modified with 'static', each object created from any subclass will get a field with that name to hold

The cardselect method is in the World class. Now it is true that I can add those cards into the array like so: <Code Omitted> But I don't know how
