Why my code is removing 2 objects first and then 1 by 1?
By heitorpereira, with 2 replies.
Last reply by danpost, almost 10 years ago:
If you only want to remove one object, use 'removeObject' instead of 'removeObject
s
'. You may have to check to see if 'getObjects' returns a list that is not empty before extracting an element from it.

Sometimes, converting the files to a different format can reduce the size. I understand mp3 files usually take up less file space.
Approach to rpg game?
By mattdswimmer, with 1 reply.
Replied to by danpost, almost 10 years ago:
It is, of course, possible; and will only be as difficult as you make it to be. Usually, top down scenarios, being basically two-dimensional, are easier than side view scenarios because gravity is not a factor and movement in all directions is consistent.

Animation problem
By MyHeadHurts, with 1 reply.
Replied to by danpost, almost 10 years ago:
You could just introduce a boolean field, call it 'started'. Use it as the condition to continue the animation. Set it to true when the button is pressed and set it to false when the last image of the animation is shown. As an alternative, you could try using my Animation class. It is located in my Support Classes collection.

Background music
By MyHeadHurts, with 1 reply.
Replied to by danpost, almost 10 years ago:
You can use the World class method 'started' to get the music to start when the program is started. Please refer to the
World class API documentation
for information on this method. You can look the code to my
BgMusic Actor Class Demo
scenario to see how the music can be controlled. You can even just import the BGMusic class into your project and use it yourself (it was created as a support class).
