I changed line 24 to <= instead, and i still get the error 'cannot find symbol - variable Winscreen1 ' even though defined the Winscreen1 in lines 7 through 17.
What is defined in lines 7 through 17 is a method called WinScreen1. The error message for line 24 says it cannot find a
variable

method
. Method calls ALWAYS have a set of parenthesis after the name of the method. Therefore, line 24 should be: <Code Omitted>
As for the 'counter' thing in line 9, i couldn't find anything, but he

I usually use a 'vSpeed' or 'ySpeed' field for the vertical speed of the actors. This value is then used when moving the actor vertically: <Code Omitted>Gravity is a constant force that always adds to the vertical speed of the actor, which slows down the actor when rising and speeds it up when falling. So, adding a constant value to 'vSpeed' every act cycle will effectively add a gravitational-like force to the actor. Any time a "solid" object stops the actor from moving vertically, the value of 'vSpeed' should be zeroed. If this happens while the 'vSpe

The Pacman is supposed to run into walls .. not you. The 'getOneObjectAtOffset' method uses offset values, not absolute coordinate values in its parameters. Remove all 'getX()' and 'getY()' from between the parenthesis of the method calls. That is, lines 2 through 5 should be: <Code Omitted>You may need to use a larger value than '2' as the o
