You could let her move into the block and then move upwards until she is not in the block anymore. <Code Omitted> However, this does not prevent her from moving into the ground from other directions. To do that, you would need to check from which direction she entered the block and move back accordingly.

Hi Gareth, I assume by 'inbuilt Java SDK' you mean you are using the Greenfoot package which includes the JDK (as available here)? If not, I guess the obvious solution is to use that package - Greenfoot should certainly be able to find the bundled JDK. Otherwise, it's possible to edit the "greenfoot.defs" file in the "lib" folder just inside Greenfoot installation folder (C:\Program Files\Greenfoot\lib, for example) and uncomment the greenfoot.windows.vm setting - the line looks something like: #gree

Line 90 of the Wombat class is using a class name to get a Counter object that a World object has. The class does not keep track of what worlds are created from it. The Wombat object does know what world it is in however: <Code Omitted>This line will get a reference to the world the wombat is in. It's a for-each loop. It gets all objects (null finds all objects in the world while Wall.class would find all Wall objects (and objects of Wall's subclasses if any)). Then this list is casted to a List of actors (because I wasn't sure if this happens automatically. Maybe you can remove this part.) What it then does is it takes the first Actor in the list which is then 'a'. It executes lines 9, then 'a' will be the next object in the list and so on.

As for spiral movement(I'm assuming you just mean a circular motion), you probably just want to have it use turn() and move() every frame while using setLocation() to modify the getX() or getY() depending on the direction of the bullet. You might not even need a for loop.

While signed in, from the home page ('Activity' page), click on 'more' in the Popular Collections section at the lower right. Then click on Create a new Collection and complete the dialog box.
