Please show the problem code when asking for help.
However, it may be that you declared the list; but, did not initialize it. Something like this:
List<GreenfootImage> images; // with something like this later images.add(image); // throwing NullPointerException // without something like this first images = new ArrayList<GreenfootImage>();
