Hello Greenfoot Community, I need your help. My Greenfoot has stopped working due to a "BlueJ was unable to create a virtual machine (VM) to execute projects" error upon starting-up. At the BlueJ site, I deactivated Windows Firewall as instructed, yet to no avail. :( Any help would be much appreciated. Do I need to re-install Java & Greenfoot? (I hope there's an easier solution). ;) A very happy teacher who enjoys using Greenfoot with his students... :) Jason

Well, whenever I have some sort of error using Greenfoot, I first see if there's that same error located on this forum, then I google it. If that doesn't give me a good answer. I end up reinstalling Greenfoot first, if it still gives an issue, I'd reinstall Java's JDK. The first 2 should give you a direct answer. Hope this helps.

Hello All, Found a solution/"work-around"... a simple reboot of Windows (I'm using Win7 btw). I should have thought about that earlier. ;) Just want to pass on this info, if you encounter a similar symptom as mine. Happy Greenfoot-ing ;) Jason

I've not experienced any such problems; although at one school that I've helped out at, their virus protection software kept on deleting a couple of the files. We had to put some exception rules in after downloading a fresh copy to ensure no virus was contained in it.
