When I try to put something in the "About you" box by account settings or try to choose a user image it doesn't work. I've tried a few times already, and you can see for your self that my Info is empty, and my user image is what you see it to be.

The 'Save' button seems to be broken, I can't change it either. You can write an E-Mail to support@greenfoot.org.

I noticed that the website that's set for the/my "Account Settings" link is: http://www.greenfoot.org/users/43418/edit I don't know if this should matter (because) when I actually click on it I'm brought to: https://www.greenfoot.org/users/43418/edit but maybe that does have something to do with not being able to edit them. By "Notification Settings" my link is: /users/43418/notifications meaning that it's the same website (beginning with https://www.greenfoot.org). When I try to add in /notifications by a different user I'm brought to a page that says "The change you wanted was rejected. Maybe you tried to change something you didn't have access to.", but when I add in /edit by a different user it just reloads the page. When I tried to change the "Notification Settings", when I pressed "Save" it did save the settings successfully but it didn't return me to my user page (I don't see why it should, the following is what there is for the save button: <input class="submit" name="commit" type="submit" value="Save">), when I left the page and then returned I saw that the settings were saved, but by "Account Settings" all it does is returns me to my user page. (The "Account Settings" save button is: <input name="commit" type="submit" value="Save">) Now that I look at it I see that the URL for my user page is: http://www.greenfoot.org/users/43418

Hovering over a link sometimes shows 'http' and sometimes 'https' while the actual site you are brought to is sometimes one or the other. I don't really see a pattern here: On my own user profile (https), those links are with http when hovering: - user image, big one and in the comment section ("refreshes the page" → brings you to a https) - Account Settings (→ https) - in comment section, the links to the scenario where the comment was posted (→ brings you to the scenario which is http) And those are https when hovering: - Notification Settings (→ https) - Show All (→ https) - the 8 shown scenarios (→ http) The "Edit Notification Settings" button at the bottom of the "Account Settings" page is also broken, it brings you to 'https://www.greenfoot.org/users/notifications' (without your own user ID), so it obviously just says that the user doesn't exist. Did/will you write the E-Mail? The Greenfoot team is probably interested in such issues on their site and maybe they don't see this discussion.

I got my links from inspecting the page.
The "Edit Notification Settings" button at the bottom of the "Account Settings" page is also broken, it brings you to 'https://www.greenfoot.org/users/notifications' (without your own user ID), so it obviously just says that the user doesn't exist.
I said the the "Notification Settings" does work by me. I just said that when I try going to the page for editing the Account and Notifications settings of a different user I get different results. When I try to edit a different user's Account settings the only thing that happens is the page gets reloaded. When I try to edit another user's Notification settings I get a message saying that I can't. Now I see what you mean by "The "Edit Notification Settings" button at the bottom of the "Account Settings" page is also broken,..." that brings me to a page saying that the user doesn't exist, but pressing "Notification Settings" on my user page does work.
Did/will you write the E-Mail? The Greenfoot team is probably interested in such issues on their site and maybe they don't see this discussion.
I sent an E-Mail already.

Of course you will get different results -- you cannot, and should not be able to, set the notification settings of any other user -- only your own.

There is a lot of misunderstanding over here. What I mean is that when I try to edit a different user's "Account Settings" the page gets reloaded. When I try to edit a different user's "Notification Settings" a message pops up saying: The change you wanted was rejected. Maybe you tried to change something you didn't have access to. so "Account Settings" and "Notification Settings" are different in a few ways (in which they shouldn't be).

What is the difference? You shouldn't be trying to change the notification settings nor the account setting of anybody other than yourself !!! and as long as you are not able to, that seems fine with me.

My problem is that I can't edit "Account Settings", but I could edit "Notification Settings". Being able to edit "Notification Settings" isn't a problem but there seems to be at least three problems with "Account Settings", some of them are in comparison with editing "Notification Settings".

Thank you! There is another small issue: On the notification page, it is not possible to set all everything to 'No'. At least one always has to stay 'Yes' it seems.

Hmm. Looks like there is an issue changing the notification for "Have updated one of their collections", which I think isn't functional anyway. Thanks; I'll fix this too soon.
