Hey all... Trying to export my Greenfoot project in a way that others who don't have Greenfoot could partake in it. Any suggestions? My friend tried to upload his project to the Greenfoot Website, but it wouldn't run, saying "Your browser is ignoring the <APPLET> tag." My Friend's Project

People with an appropriate browser and browser/java settings can run this scenario (like all the other scenarios here on the site).

You can export a scenario as a .jar file and then convert it into a .exe (Windows executable) or something like that. If a scenario says "Your browser is ignoring the <APPLET> tag." then it will say that be ALL scenarios because the problem is the BROWSER. That scenario works for me just like all scenarios, It's not the uploader's problem it's yours trying to run the scenario when you haven't done the proper things to make the scenarioS work on the website. (You have to not be using Chrome try Internet Explorer, and "http://www.greenfoot.org/" has to be added to the exception site list in the Java control panel item.)

You could put a copy of the executable file (created by locally sharing to make an application) in the project folder and upload it here with the source code checkbox checked. Then they can download it from the site, extract the files by unzipping the downloaded folder and take the executable from inside it.
