Could you please help me with this. I am using a dual core 3 ghz 2GB Ram processor. My Operating System is a Windows 7 Home Premium. I watched day 3 and 4 in Greenfoot Java lessons. I have downloaded the hedgehogs and turtles scenarios. But when I open a new scenario my download folder appears instead what you have shown in your video. And there is no compile button in my greenfoot. Why? I could attach the screenshots of the greenfoot screens I get. But there is no link for that. Can anyone help me please?

The newest version of greenfoot compiles automatically upon any changes to your code. I am not sure if this happens immediately upon a change or when you close the editor window; however, there is no compile button in the new version.

As I found out, it compiles when you click on the main Greenfoot window where the world is shown.

@danpost How about the download window that appears when I open the new scenario link? I don't get the same window when I open a new scenario, as the video shows in lesson 3 and 4.

I do not think you are wanting to open a "new" scenario here. Try clicking on "Open...". But first you need to click the link to download the scenario. It will be a zip file that is downloaded, so you then need to unzip it. Finally, it would be best to move the project folder into your 'greenfoot/scenarios' folder. Then you will be able to "open" it. The "New..." link is used to begin coding a new project, not to open one that already exists.

@danpost when I open my Greenfoot program a message come in a new window. It has been coming since the first time I installed it. The message is - "Device "Intel(R) G41 Express Chipset (Microsoft Corporation - WDDM 1.1)" (\\.\DISPLAY1) initialization failed : WARNING: bad driver version detected, device disabled. Please update your driver to at least version 8.15.10.2302 What is this? Is this why no scenario window open when I click new scenario. Please I really want to learn Java.
