Greenfoot/Gallery Site Merge

We've been mentioning this for a while, but we've finally made the big step in merging the Greenfoot and Greenfoot Gallery websites. Essentially, the old, fairly creaky greenfoot.org site has been removed, and the greenfootgallery.org site has been moved across and put in its place. We've felt for a long time that the old greenfoot.org site needed updating, and we're pleased to integrate the user content -- your scenarios and your discussions -- into the heart of the Greenfoot website. The first thing you will notice if you're a regular user is that you've just been logged out. That's an inevitable one-off consequence of changing the domains (your cookie is for greenfootgallery.org, but now everything is under greenfoot.org). If you've been logged in forever and have forgotten your password, go to the login page to sort that out. Apart from the logout, everything should be fairly smooth. All the old gallery URLs just redirect to the same place on greenfoot.org, and all important greenfoot.org URLs should redirect to the right place on the new site. If you notice any problems (or you can't find some content that used to exist on greenfoot.org), post here to let me know. If your problem is that you can't login or can't post after the site move, then you can email me on nccb@greenfoot.org and I can try to sort that out for you. Otherwise: continue as you were.

@danpost: The members link is accessible from the "more" link beneath popular users on the activity page. I don't want to have too many tabs, so members has to hang off one of the existing tabs. I was wondering about reducing the number of recent/popular scenarios to 4, to move popular users further up the page, but haven't made my mind up just yet. @colorfulteen: I was sure I'd fixed those a while back, but apparently not. I took another look, and they should both be fixed now. Thanks for pointing it out.

Thanks for pointing that out for me. I guess I was just used to having it as a tab. It is not neccessary to make any changes, as far as I can see (my mention of it was for your behalf, not mine) as the page appears to be fine the way it is (to me).

I don't know where you looked at roflol, but it's still not working as intended. Unless of cpurse, you intend to... what... hide resources from view... or something like that... I don't know!!! Being a fan of Herman I mainly look at his scenarios. I noticed that the links to the pages 2 of 1. most_viewed, 2. viewed_week, 3. best_rated and 4. liked_week have the same addres: http://www.greenfoot.org/users/683/scenarios?sort_by=&page=2. Having pointed this out, I'dd like to know how you are going to correct this, or what you have done to correct this???

Hi lunAzul, I was looking at the main scenarios page, which had the bug but is now fixed. I see that you're referring to the per-user scenarios page, which I didn't realise had the same bug. So my answer to your question is... now that you've pointed it out, I'll apply the same fix to the user scenarios page tomorrow morning :-)
