This is an implementation of Newton's Method for finding a root of a function.

The root found isn't necessarily the root nearest to the starting point, as can easily be seen by choosing a starting point near a local extremum.

User danpost kindly allowed me to use his function evaluating and plotting routines from his equation grapher scenario. Thanks Dan!
