Whenever I reach Warp Speed 11, the screen shrinks to about 1/3 its size.

That is because (i think) the stars are moving so fast, they are never visible in that area. Besides, ships in star trek never go that fast, so I don't think its really a problem.

Can you tell me how to get rid of the fade in part? I'm using this for a game and I'd like to get rid of it.

Set the boolean "change" to false and remove the if(Greenfoot.isKeyDown("a")){.....}else a= true; operator.

It won't be in Greenfoot due to its limited abilities, but I will try to port it maybe.

Now THIS is awesome! Its amazing how you can create a 3-d effect with just dots! Seriously this is amazing.

Also if you go up to warp speed like 10, then slow back down to 1, the stars all spawn simultaneously, ruining the effect.

Has to do with the internal variable called time I think. I have been messing with it and the time variable causes this problem if increased/started with top high a value.
A new version of this scenario was uploaded on Mon Dec 17 21:04:36 UTC 2012 I fixed both bugs!
