Thanks :D You should be praising @TopInPut for uploading http://www.greenfoot.org/scenarios/4286 and giving me the idea to make it :)

I am of the opinion, that the path should get smaler, by getting a higher score :) Because I got a High score and it didn't seem to get more difficult...
A new version of this scenario was uploaded on Sat Mar 03 23:44:06 UTC 2012 Gets harder with time, and also is a bigger screen now.

@Busch2207 Implemented. And when you say a "high score" what did you get? I think my best was about 2250 or so (then again, haven't played it much)

Should I add acceleration and gravity instead of a fixed speed? I've been debating it since I first started the game...

I think the hardest part of this game is the fact that the scoreboard messes with your eyes while you try and concentrate. o.O They kinda hurt not...
Busch2207Busch2207

2012/3/4

My Score was something around 9000 :D

The biggest problem is the score in the middle, how tallyaka said... this is a bit disturbing...
DutaDuta

2012/3/4

Really? I barely notice it when I play. Want to suggest the new location for the score?
Busch2207Busch2207

I dont' know... Maybe on the left side... or maybe in gray or black.

That's very good! The score is easy to see, and he doesn't hindere.

I realise that I don't like the movement... Also this was meant to be one comment, hit submit too early by accident

Lost my memory stick earlier which had this scenario's source code on. As such, this is the final version..

But my Helicopter is beautifuller. xD
DutaDuta

2012/3/9

It is :p You should finish your scenario, it'll be good :)
DutaDuta

By it is, I meant yours is "beautifuller" :P

how do you have your best score

2012/3/9

how do you have your best score
DutaDuta

2012/3/9

Ah I thought someone might ask about that! I made the int bestScore "static". When you reload the page it reloads the scenario and so the bestScore is lost, however it stays between resets because when you press reset Greenfoot isn't loading all the classes for the first time, so the static variables keep their values (static means associated to the class rather than an individual object of the class). Its basically just a little trick I learnt with Greenfoot

2012/3/11

You created the Helicopter alone or you used a finish one of somewhere? ;) I made my one with photoshop. ;D Really easy :P
DutaDuta

2012/3/11

I stole it from somewhere, and ran it through a method I created to flip, resize and transparent it :)

I just realized that this scenario (which I just threw together fairly quickly) has got the most votes of all my scenarios... >.<

2013/5/29

You should do a userinfo high score thing
DutaDuta

2013/5/29

I would, but I lost the source code :( If I hadn't, I'd also make it slightly less impossible. I forgot to click "publish source code" in the last update I did, and then I lost a USB with loads of stuff (including this project) on :/ Always publish source! :D
tylerstylers

2013/5/29

i might be able to recover the source code ;) i know a trick which works.
JetLennitJetLennit

2013/5/29

What is the trick?

Was that what you did? (I found most of it here http://www.greenfoot.org/topics/find/23819 and then used my own finding to see this link)

2013/5/29

Awesome, thank you both of you! :D I had to write a custom project file so that it would link the new scenario with this one on the site, but it worked! I'll set about (in 10 minutes or so anyway) doing those updates.
tylerstylers

2013/5/29

:D shall i remove the download link?
DutaDuta

2013/5/29

Might as well, save bandwidth on your server and all that :L just opened it up, the code's so ugly :o To be fair, a lot of my old code is horrible. Time to get rewriting
