by the way,.i'm a little bit confuse about the radar logic,.can u explain about it,.??i also want to make a little radar on my game,.just like in this game,.thanks before heu..3x,.(question from newbie :P)
Which part of the radar are you confused about? The part that displays the terrain or the part that displays the enemies?
great game very good setup. the only thing i would improve on is how much you turn when you press the left or right arrow keys. It seems to me like if you are trying to aim at a enemy it turn to much when you press the arrow key. But other than that it is an awesome game.

Yeah, this was one of my first games for Greenfoot, and I hadn't quite figured out everything yet. That and it's a bit difficult to play an FPS with arrow keys anyway XD

Hey there, I downloaded this but when I run it doesn't go past the main menu.
Works for me. Does it give any errors? Are you running the latest version of Greenfoot?

I recommend you use my code only as a guide to creating your own. That will be more useful in the long run! Think of it this way. Getkey is always looking at what keys you are pressing, and keeping track of the most recent one you pressed. Whenever you call Greenfoot.getkey(), it tells you what the most recent keypress was. After asking it, it will continue to return nothing until another key is pressed.

Thanks, I just figured it out. It turns out I needed to use .equals() instead of ==. That messed everything up. Thanks for the code, though.

Well, that actually might not have been it. I used your idea of creating a string variable and storing the getKey() variable that way. I don't know what it was, but your code was helpful.

Hello, nice work Builderboy. May I ask you how did you design the levels ? I understand levels are coded in the RaY class and I'd like to know if you've used some kind of graphical interface to design them. Thanks
I didn't use any kind of gui at all, I had to enter each number of the tilemap by hand! It was quite tedious.

MatheMagician has made some 3D games. And I think I've seen more somewhere else here, but Builderboy has been the main guy making 3D games on the website (from what I've seen.)
