The Simpsons Game

My game is a two-player game based off the popular show The Simpsons. To play, you and your opponent must first pick your character. The two characters in the game are Bart Simpson and Milhouse Van Houten. It is recess at Springfield Elementary, Bart (character on right) has lost all 21 of his slingshots and they are now scattered throughout the schoolyard. Bart’s best friend, Milhouse (character on left), has betrayed him and wants to take the slingshots for himself. The goal of the game is to collect more slingshots than your opponent. You will do so by controlling and moving your character. If you are Milhouse, you will move using the keys a, s, d, w. The a-key moves you left, the s-key moves you down, the d-key moves you right, and the w-key moves you up. If you are Bart, you will move using the arrow keys. The arrow’s direction corresponds to the direction of Bart. For example, the up-arrow key moves you up. You must be directly above the slingshot and the slingshot must be near the middle, center of the character to collect it. Each time you collect a slingshot, you get a point added to your score and the first one to 11 points wins. However, there’s a catch, Principal Skinner (character in the middle) has heard of these lost slingshots and will suspend anyone who is seen with one. You must avoid Principal Skinner at all costs. Principal Skinner catches you just like how you collect slingshots. Therefore, if he runs into you or you run into him you caught. This means you will be removed from the game and automatically lose regardless of the score.
