Blackjack

Play Blackjack against the computer dealer. You can actually use this game to practice card counting, in case you ever want to try and beat the dealers at Las Vegas. :-)

Have Fun!

Hi All, just in case it isn't obvious, click Run, then click either the "Hit Me" button or "Hold" button as appropriate. Then in the middle of the board when the result dialog pops up, click the "Play Again?" button to continue playing.

The dealer cheats. He still draws at 17+ if player has more than him.
A new version of this scenario was uploaded on Sun Nov 02 01:13:44 UTC 2014 Fixed bug in dealer code. The dealer will now stand on 17 or greater. Previously it was using a rule that a colleague had suggested to me. But I researched the rules for dealers at casinos and realized I was using the incorrect rules. Thanks to Danpost for finding the bug.

Hi Danpost, thanks for the bug report. I just changed the dealer rules. I was using rules a colleague of mine suggested, but I just researched what real casino dealers use for rules and you are correct. The dealer is supposed to stand after reaching 17 or greater.

A new version of this scenario was uploaded on Sun Nov 02 03:15:41 UTC 2014 Another slight bug in the results display. I think this should do it for bugs at this point. Let me know if you find other bugs. Thanks, A-Star-Games
