I do not have this .exe. I have all the .txt (with change date one hour late) and the folders (month to years later), but not this "Rape Simulator". Seriously looks weird.

Hi everyone, We have just released Greenfoot 2.4.0. This is largely a bug-fix release but also contains some nice new features and usability improvements:

Added several new importable helper classes
Added new World.showText(...) method as an easier way to display text (scores, etc)
Fixed text rendering/aliasing issues with GreenfootImage
Allowed saving/creating scenario in an existing empty directory (rather than insisting on creating a new one)
Removed first-time load menu
Shows text status during world creation
Infinite loop in world construction is now detected and handled gracefully
Added ability to export to single .gfar file in Share... dialog
Improved functionality when using Greenfoot.isKeyDown with wrong key names

Greenfoot 2.4.0 is available for Windows, Mac and Linux. The "stand alone" (Windows USB) version will be updated at later date. We hope you enjoy using Greenfoot 2.4.0! The Greenfoot development team.

There is a chance that your player will fall through the platform if the platform is not 4 pixels. Also, do not use getOneObjectAtOffset(). That checks one pixel. Use isTouching() or getOneIntersectingObject() etc., the ones that check a platform intersecting your player.

Not sure if I am adding to the confusion, but: It sounds like you should be using the "standalone" version of Greenfoot, which is designed to run from a USB stick, but it also sounds like are not doing this and have in fact copied the regular Windows installer plus the JDK to the USB stick: To answer this:

Wait, so I currently have the Greenfoot windows installer and the JDK on my flashdrive. I also have the book scenarios folder (I need it to complete my summer work) in my flashdrive. Would I be able to bring my flashdrive to another computer and be able to run Greenf

Yes, as soon as you remove an actor from the world it's getWorld() method will return null. If you try to call something using a null reference you will get a NullPointerException. So, if you have a method being called when the actor is possibly no longer in the world, you need to check for that (i.e. check if getWorld() == null) and return if so.
