windows 8.1 java 8 +

I'm running Windows 8.1 64 bit. When I try to run a scenario I get a Dialog say Application blocked by java security etc. I put the site on the exception list like the dialog suggest and lowered the security level but still no joy.

What does it say exactly. Did you add 'http://www.greenfoot.org/' to the exceptions list? What do you mean? Do you still get exactly the same error, or a different problem?

Lowered to high which is the lowest on offer in java settings, exception list is correct. It say my security settings refused to allow scenario to load. Never been stumped for this long before. No one else run into this problem.

I do not know if it will make any difference or if yours is set or not; but, if the checkbox at the top of your Java security settings tab that allows java content in your browser is not checked, try checking it.
