How come I cannot run scenarios from windows 8.1, I asked this question before and have not got an appropriate response. It seems the new Java 8.x will not allow medium security setting, thus I can run no scenarios. Without any fix greenfoot will slowly fizzle out surely, or everyone will have to drop back to an earlier version of java.

Make sure you have greenfoot in the exceptions list in the java control panel -- security tab.
