Please, what is the work of jdk java ? ...my Greenfoot application is requesting for JDK.. please, teach me how to install it

On this homepage go to Download -> Download JDK -> (On the Java page under JDK) Download. You should end here . Then check " Accept License Agreement " and click on the download that fits your system.
