I may have misunderstood, but you want to make sure that when a snake eats an Apple, it gets a point, and if it eats potatoes, it's out of the game, right?

Just add an int field to time the duration of dominance. Only allow harm to come if its value is zero. When it is not zero, lower its value. When a potato is eaten, set its value to 60 times the number of seconds that the duration is to last.

I agree, but not 60 times, but 20 times. Although this can be adjusted, but by default it always costs 20 program plays per second.

It really depends on your speed slider. At around the middle of the bar (at a speed of 50, which is the default speed for a scenario), in general, about 55 to 60 act frames are executed per second.

It all depends on the version of greenfoot.if it is old, it is 20 by default, and the new version is 50.

In all the versions I have used over the years, it has always been about the same -- namely around 55 to 60 fps..

Well, then I don't know, I used the old version, I don't remember exactly what, but somewhere less than 3, there were 20, but I won't argue, because it was a long time ago, maybe forgotten)
