Why wont greenfoot open?

Okay so first it was about my background, now, i've got it all resized to a more compatable image and ready to insert into a greenfoot world. greenfoot just wont open, it'll just show the startup to it with a lil green bar at the bottom doing a loading thing but never actually open. Already i've uninstalled and reinstalled the software, but it keeps doing the same thing. Help desperately needed.

I would first close out greenfoot and try editing the world subclass .java file (using NotePad, for example), reducing the size of the world, first to something like 1000x600. After saving the file, re-open greenfoot to see if it loads.

aaahhh, I have no clue how to even start that to be able to change the world, it confuses me why if i uninstalled it my old world would still exist. Edit:So on a different devise previously i had downloaded greenfoot onto my flashdrive, and thankfully i was able to enter that version with no problems. Thank you so much for the advise though! You've been a great help to me.
