uploading images in posts

Heyy i wanted to describe a problem and i wanted to descrive it with some pictures. But i didn't find an option to uploade these pictures. When i press on the button "image" it tells me to type in a link to a picture. I guess that means, that you can only post pictures that are already linked to the internet ? Is there any opportunity to upload pictures ?

You can naturally only give a link that exists on the internet. To show a picture you have to upload your image to any site and then put it's link for the image. There are sites that host images and you can give links to it, but I don't know these sites. I can post my user image since it gets uploaded (to the Greenfoot site) when I set it. Most people seem to manage just fine with describing their problem in words.
