Hello everyone, Greenfoot has gotten me more interested into indie 2d games. However, my friends keep on telling me that it is not the "ideal engine" for this. What engine(s) should I use in that case? Which ones are free? How do they compare to the ones that aren't? And what is/are the best language(s) to write in and why?
