Is there a way to change which wombats can eat leaves? It says in the code leavesEaten = leavesEaten + 1; which i assume tally's how many leaves were eaten but is there a way to stop some instances of wombats from eating leaves?

Many ways. It would depend on how many wombats you want to be eaters (at one time); whether (and when) their eating status could change (among other things.
