Both of you are telling me the same thing, and both of you are telling me the thing which I already said
My concern was that you had said:
But I think it will still accomplish the same thing
Even with your qualification,
just if I only check for the instance of 'actor'/'a' then it will take at least two act cycles to get the bird and the cloud
The issue is that there is no number of act cycles which would guarantee that you would see both actors. Therefore, if the purpose is to check for collision (intersection) with a particular type of actor instance, what you proposed will not perform this reliably. I do not see this as accomplishing the same thing.
If you would have noticed these words then you would have known that your (plural) last replies were unnecessary.
In my eyes your (qualified) suggestion that the code accomplishes the same thing could be clarified, which is why I posted the previous response. You will notice that I did not say you were wrong (as you implied I did); I just added a clarification to the conversation.
