I need a "Spinner" -- like a Wheel of Fortune thing...

I'm doing a project with my Life Skills class where students will randomly be assigned a "pregnancy". I want the wheel to determine the gender of the baby and they could get twins. Also, a 1 in 726 chance would give them triplets. Not sure how to calculate the genders of twins and triplets, but it would be awesome to have that. The odds of having boys and girls are pretty close to 50% I believe, but not exactly. I can find the info if someone has an idea how to get this set up.

There are a lot of images I could get for this as well. Check some of these out: Wheel of Fortune Other Wheels It might be good to be able to add in some odds for other events as well -- Downs Syndrome, for example. Maybe a "Wheel" isn't the best design. Maybe some "bloop-bleep-bloop" computer thing that displays the result. Or puts up an ultrasound. :P

Well, why don't you generate a random number (new java.util.Random().nextInt(0,100)) and then do a simple if(randomNumber > = 50) { //gender = boy } else { //gender = gurl } . after that, do an if for the chance of getting twins or triplets. Once again, this is the simplest way I could think of doing this.

You may find it easier and more aesthetic to use a 'Price is Right' type wheel instead.

A 'Price is Right' wheel would be cool. I could alternate pink and blue bars and every 30th bar could be a pink/blue striped bar or something. Hmm... And 8bit -- that is probably what I will end up doing in the short-term. I was hoping someone already had a routine built that would have a cool spinner so we could watch to learn the sex of their babies.
