Bug report: Error: IOException writing debug log

Twice in the past two days I've seen the error "IOException writing debug log" and a stack trace in the Greenfoot terminal window. Most recently, it happened in the little-crab scenario from the textbook (unmodified or only slightly modified) when I double-clicked on the Crab class to open the editor. My configuration is:
Greenfoot version 2.4.2 (Java version 1.8.0_31) Virtual machine: Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 25.31-b07 (Oracle Corporation) Running on Windows 7 6.1 (x86) Java Home: C:\Program Files (x86)\Greenfoot\jdk\jre
Here is the stack trace:

Hi Ellen, By any chance was this on a laptop, and had the latpop been closed (or otherwise gone to sleep) while Greenfoot was running? That's the only circumstance where I've seen anything like this before. Davin
Davin, Thanks for the reply. This was not on a laptop, but the computer had been idle for a while. Ellen
