I haven't tried anything really right no, but the idea from danpost is quite good.
I tried it a little bit but i can't figure it out how to program the hole thing so, that you just need to press run and get maybe some arrows like wider and smaller so you can set the width of the background screen. Is this somehow possible or just a nice idea but doesn't work. To set the width and height in the code is not what i want to be in a finished version and also i don't want 5 times the same game with different screen settings so yeah thats the new problem than.
@Upupzealot i haven't tried your thing right now but I'll do it soon.
It works good on my machine, tell me how dose It work for your project after you tried it
@Upupzealot: Even I needed to get rid of those buttons and found your method. Unfortunately, the download link you provided doesn't work. I have tried compiling the Greenfoot source code in Eclipse, but not yet succeeded. There is no guide on the internet on that as well. Kindly help out. :)
@GauravBhor the link is out of time. If you want the file, you can give me your email address and I would share it with you on drop box.
@Upupzealot: Yes please. My email id is gaurav.blade@gmail.com.
Yes, that did the trick. Works perfectly! Thank you. :)
@Upupzealot: Any chance you can send it over to mr295@kent.ac.uk?
Thanks,
Matt
what are you lot going on about?!?!?!?! i'm sorry but i'm a newbie and am confused by all this waffle.
@Yoshi try to export a scenraio into a jar file, and then you would know what button we are talking about.
You can export a scenraio from the "Share button" on the top right corner of the Greenfoot main window of a scenraio. Choose "Apication" to epxort it as a jar file.
For any body else who was interested, you can reply this topic or email me, and then I would share the file with you on dropbox.(I need your email address to share it with you.)
could you share it with me, too? my email is on my profile
Upupzealot, can you please email me the file at tab258@nau.edu
