I think everyone has this, but it shuldn't be a problem. You just can't change the sourcecode of the classes World and Actor. If you want a discription of the methods you can open the documentation.
If you want to see the sourcecode you have to search for the txt file in your Greenfoot program, but you should not change the code. Then it could be that Greenfoot doesn't work anymore.
I wrote my own code into the actor class, and when i click on it it wont appear as it should, so i cant make revisions or changes. sent debug log to philip at support to check it, and he was not able to find anything...(scratching my head?)
Three questions:
Did you try right-clicking on the class and choosing "open editor", rather than double clicking?
Have you tried restarting Greenfoot, did that help?
Did you try and open the class immediately before sending the debug log? (starting Greenfoot clears the previous log, so you need to recreate the problem before sending the log).
Davmac:
I did all of these, and it as if the systems has crashed. When I right click or single click it will not open the editor. I will try it again on a different computer. Any chance you can send me the worldEdge code for trick the turtle. I need it as I am reviewing bouncy balls tutorial to make
make the balls bounce and then change color. Thank you sir.
Can you please answer clearly? I.e. "yes I tried restarting Greenfoot" etc.; there are three questions in my post, you definitely haven't answered all of them :)
