This is a game that I created quickly for a school project. I quite like the way it turned out after all.

I like the comic style :). And there is loads of stuff you could add like upgrades for your ship and such.

I agree about upgrades for the space ship. I'm busy learning other stuff at school now, but when I have a bit more time, I think I will implement that feature. Thank you for your feedback.

Yes, I did. I started off sketching, to get some ideas how to design the graphics. In the end I utilized my sketches for the graphics to give the game a more personal look.
