The Legend of Consign

Stage 1: The first stage of the game consists of a player-character (main hunter) and four other treasure hunters placed in a square game world that depicts a medieval tavern. The main hunter walks around the tavern looking for hunters to join the team. The main hunter moves at a constant speed but can turn left or right using the A or D key. The other hunters move around the tavern at a constant speed, but randomly turn left or right. If the main hunter collides with any of the other hunters a dialog box will appear with an argument containing a fallacy and the main hunter must confirm if the argument contains a fallacy (what fallacy it is). To win this stage in one way is for the main to walk out of the tavern causing the next stage to be harder because the main has no team in the next stage. Another way to win is to recruit all four other hunters making the next stage easy. A way to lose this stage is to both fail to exit the tavern and fail to recruit all 4 other hunters in an allotted time.

Stage 2: The second stage of the game consists of a player-character (main hunter) and the corresponding number of allies (treasure hunters) from the first stage. You (and your team) are placed in a scrolling rectangular game world that depicts a cave. The player followed by the team move at a constant speed through the cave and can move up or down using the W and S keys. They can also move backwards using the A key to slow down or the D key to speed up. The player has an internal counter to keep track of how much treasure has been acquired. In the game world there are obstacles to affect the players’ amount of treasure. Such as traps and rocks headed towards the player. The game is won when the player makes it to the end of the cave. The game is lost when the player hits too many traps during the cave expedition.
