When running press
t to create trees
l to create leaves
a to create ants
p to create anteaters (predators)
b to create barriers

n to set a new standard population.

You can switch the graph on and off by clicking the mouse.

I think you should turn the default speed down to somewhere close to the middle. This runs way too fast on my machine without adjusting this.
