Nightmare: Emergence

Nightmare is a new Top Down horror style game i am working on alongside WeCreateStuff.com. Inspired by their Nightmare House I/II, Nightmare: Emergence, is a new and terrifying experience that i hope everybody can enjoy. This is the first couple chapters of the game, and has taken me a good amount of time to get working. It is still not finished, as it is lacking a significant amount of chapters that have yet to be completed, but it is still 100% playable!

Nightmare features a newly coded scripting engine specifically developed for Nightmare House. It controls much of the game, from world creation to object interaction to event scripting. Download the source and check it out!

CONTROLS:

Use WASD or the Arrow keys to move around,
Use E or Right Mouse Button to interact with objects
Use F to turn off your flashlight and let it charge
Use the Mouse to look around with the flashlight
Click the Mouse to use any Item you have picked up
Use the number keys to select your weapon, or use the scroll wheel to cycle through them

What part are you talking about?

After "the test", is there supposed to be a bright light when the guy opens the door to get eaten? it happens any time you use a code too, it doesn't mess the game up, just to let you know. I like all of the updates though, especially the box's shadows so it's a bit lighter.

Yeah he's holding the flashlight. He usually delivers a little dialogue right there and then gets eaten, but I forgot to re enable that script so right now he gets eaten right away >.< I'll do a quick re-upload

Can I use your sounds for a school-project? Or can you say me where you got them? Of course I'll mention them in the credits.

I got them from the video game Half Life 2, so if you want to use them either download the (low quality) versions from my scenario or if you happen to have the game extract them from the game file.
