tried using getIntersectingObjects(crossroad.class) but not working
when a car actor has finished passing throught the crossroad detector another car should be allowed to go through and turn if needed and so on for more cars

Not easily. You may want to look at the code of my Traffic Control scenario. Just run it and click on the buttons along the bottom within the scenario.
