Taking Greenfoot Further: GamePads and Unplugged
We have started a page collecting ideas, information and material about doing some specific, interesting things with Greenfoot that might not be immediately obvious. It's titled Taking Greenfoot Further. Two new entries on it describe how to use GamePads (standard game console controllers) with Greenfoot, and how to link CS Unplugged activities to Greenfoot programming.

New tutorial video: Smoke Effect
As a first in a series of more advanced programming tips, we have added a new tutorial video: Visual Effects I: Smoke effect. You can download or watch it now on the Tutorial video page.

The new Greenroom now open
The Greenroom has now opened its doors. The Greenroom is a community site for teachers who teach with Greenfoot. It is restricted to teachers only, and allows members to ask questions, have discussions and share and find material.

Greenfoot at SIGCSE
There will be a Greenfoot event, the Greenfoot Lunch, at the SIGCSE conference in March in Milwaukee. The Greenfoot Lunch starts on Friday, 12 March, 12:00 noon. Join us if you can!
